Sunday services in our three churches
St Peter
8.00am Holy Communion
Said Communion service according to the Book of Common Prayer
9.45am Sung Eucharist or All-age Communion
Sung Eucharist with hymns, sermon and a robed choir. Every week
we have Sunday Club for Junior School aged children and twice a
month we have Vestry Club for Senior School aged students.
We also have All-age Communion services on some feast days when we welcome the Uniformed Organisations attached to the church and
the service is family friendly. Coffee and biscuits are served after the
service.
6.30pm Evensong
Evensong with sermon according to the Book of Common Prayer.
On occasion this is a fully choral service.
St Margaret
11.00am Holy Communion
Common Worship Communion service with hymns and a sermon. The first Sunday service in the month is normally an all age Family Service and during the third Sunday service there is normally a Junior Church held in the bell tower with suitable activities for young people. Coffee is served after the Sunday services.
St John the Baptist
10.00am Services
On the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays of the month we have a sung Communion service with hymns, a choir and a sermon. On these days there is a Sunday Club for the 0-10 year-olds which meets during the service.
On the second Sunday of each month we hold a special All Age service for the whole family.
