Quiet Day 31 October 2009
For the last 5 years Marion Pyke, Associate Minister at St Peter's, has taken a group from St.Peter’s and St Margaret’s Mothers Union to the CSMV Community at Wantage where she has been an Oblate for over 20 years.
This year, Marion opened it to St John's and the congregations of the churches in general. Twelve drove over the Downs to Wantage and found peace, refreshment and inspiration. She could have doubled the number this year which is encouraging and shows just how much people are looking for a space in their lives to reflect and come closer to God.
